Family owned and operated since 1983
Since 1983, Bob’s Take-N-Bake Pizza has remained a cherished family venture. Bob and his devoted wife, Linda, embarked on this journey with a singular aim: to offer their community delicious, freshly made pizzas.
Their inaugural store in Ceres swiftly garnered acclaim, fueled by local support. Buoyed by this affection, Bob expanded to Roseburg Square in 1995, earning a revered status in Modesto’s college scene.
Through swift service and community engagement, both outlets flourished.
In 2017, Bob retired and in 2020 Bob’s great niece, Lacey, acquired the Ceres location. She continues to honor Bob and Linda’s original mission: to deliver top-notch quality, affordability, and unmatched customer care.
At Bob’s, we take pride in crafting pizzas with freshly sourced ingredients daily. Embracing freshness, all our pizzas feature never-frozen ingredients. This pizza is legendary. I have been eating it for years and NO take n bake, absolutely no other options that I have come across have rivaled it. The first time I ate it I was shook. When I moved briefly across the states I begged my girlfriend to USPS a pizza in an ice chest, alas, she denied my request. Let me tell you though, I moved back. Be smart, eat here for the love of god.“

“I’ve been going to Bob’s for a while and I’ve finally decided to write a review. It is THE BEST PIZZA YOU WILL EVER HAVE. The people are so nice. The pizza is so good. The cheese bread stuff is amazing. The cookie dough is phenomenal… how much better can you get? I hope this place stays open for a long time and that they open up more places so everyone can enjoy this awesome pizza. My family from Southern California comes up here and we always order Bob’s because it’s their favorite and they don’t have anything like it down south.”
